Welcome to the G2 SpeechReport user guide. This guide is for staff who use G2 to dictate letters to people outside of the Trust about patients who have been seen, usually at Outpatient appointments.  Please note:  SpeechReport had an upgrade in early 2023 which was mostly a change to the look and feel.  The system runs the same as before.


What is G2 SpeechReport?


SpeechReport is the Trust's Digital Dictation system, which pulls patient demographics and Outpatient appointments from our PAS (Patient Admin System).  It is used primarily in Brighton, Haywards Heath, Hove and Lewes.  Big Hand is the Digital Dictation system used primarily in Chichester, Shoreham and Worthing.



Who are the Admin Managers?


The Admin Managers run the teams of Medical Secretaries and Audio Typists who check and produce  Authors' letters.  Please click here for the current list of Admin Managers.
