All case-notes are being digitised as the trust goes “paper-light” and introduces new electronic clinical document software for staff to use.


The system is known as Evolve and it is clinical documentation management portal.  This system introduces a new way of working which will deliver a number of benefits. These include instantaneous access to all case-notes, no more lost health records and a more adaptable means to search through notes, either by date or specialty for example, facilitating quicker retrieval of information.


Evolve is an “Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform that automates the creation, capture and handling of medical casenotes and operational documents and records allowing healthcare providers to deliver better patient safety and quality of care”.
